FM CC Colour & Care Cream - Trial and Review

Hi everyone this is my review of FM’s new CC Cream Colour & Care.

I’m sure lots of you have heard about and even tried some of the BB creams on the market, this is FM’s offering. I tried a couple BB creams from main high street brands. I didn’t like Garnier’s version (not enough coverage) but I quite liked No7’s one (good coverage but left my skin too oily).

oundation and a mineral filter of SPF15. It currently comes in two shades FM|cc04 Genius Nude (the one I tried) and FM|cc05 Smart Beige. As you can see in the pictures it comes in the traditional black and gold FM packaging. The tube contains a generous 30ml of product.
FM state that the CC cream contains papaya extract, mango extract, beeswax, vitamin A and E, Zinc oxide, carnauba wax, alantoin and mineral pigments. It claims to moisturise, nourish, conceal imperfections, soothes irritations, revitalises the skin, improves elasticity, prevents wrinkles from appearing and does not block pores.

I tried a little on my hand first and immediately it was clear that even though I had selected the lightest shade, it would still be too dark for my skin. (I’m very pale with red undertones). It had a very creamy consistency and compared to the BB creams I’ve tried it has good coverage and I can understand why it would conceal minor imperfections and blur away uneven skin tone.
I prepped my skin with FM’s B-Glucan Activ Face Serum before applying the CC cream. When applying it does require some blending, as you would with a foundation. I found I really didn’t need to use very much making me think that the 30ml tube will last a long time.

It was too dark for my skin so I made sure I blended it down over my neck and chest. I think I may mix it with the face serum or face cream to lighten the colour and see how that goes, I’ll let you know. It smells lovely which is probably due to the mango and papaya. My skin was shine free but not cakey or dull. It seemed to even out my skin tone and felt light on my skin. I didn’t need to apply any other products over the top like powder (although I’m sure you could if you wanted a truly matte effect).

So in conclusion I would recommend this product if you’re someone who’s not keen on wearing foundation every day but want something just to polish your daily look. I really hope FM produce some more shades in the future to suit the very pale and darker skinned people as the CC cream is lovely to use. I will post back the results of diluting the cream with a serum or moisturiser to make it lighter.

Good morning everyone - what a terrible day, cold and wet, grr I am having to fight the urge to crawl back under my duvet....But I can't because between sorting out my sons for school and looking after my poorly cat I'm organising a FM Online Perfume Party!

My before and after using FM Mineral Make-Up

Hello again. I thought I'd show you how good the FM mineral make-up range was by showing you my before and after photos. The Before image is usually reserved for my husband and boys but I'm feeling brave so please be kind, lol!

So to recreate my natural daytime look I invested in the FM Mini-Make-Up kit (RRP £49.99). It trully is a great investment with full sized products. You get to choice the formulations and colours that suit you. No more make-up gift sets with one perfect product and 2-3 you'll never use.

I also invested in the silicone face base (RRP £9.99) which works as a primer to create the perfect base to apply the rest of you make-up.

So, I started with the B-Glucan Active Face Serum (RRP £11.99) which I use instead of a traditional moistursing, my skin can be quite greasy so this provides me with the benefits of an anti-aging formulation but with a much lighter consistancy.
Then lightly apply the Silicone Face Base, you do not need a lot to get the full benefit.
Advanced Foundation - Ivory. I like this formulation as my skin as red undertones and this foundation covers the flaws perfectly.
Mineral Powder - Illuminating Effect - Buffed onto the skin using a make-up brush.
Mineral Eyeshadow Trio - Chocolate Mouse applied using a eyeshadow brush.
Automatic Eye Pencil - Decadence Black along upper lash line. - Very long lasting and glides on the skin without dragging.
New Dimension Lash Mascara - I did use eyelash curlers first as my lashes a dead straight.
Baked Blush - Delicious Papaya - Applied on the cheekbones with blusher brush. I swirl off excess before applying.
Finally, Glossy Lipstick - Peachy Rose. This is just gorgeous, you get a subtle colour with the shine of lip gloss.

Hello to you all!
My name is Lyndsay, this is my first blog so please bear with me. I thought I would start by introducing myself and telling you abit about me and why I joined FM.
I'm a married mum of 2 little boys. My eldest is in school and my youngest is in preschool. I also work part time in primary care.
I joined FM as, initially I liked the idea of earning a second income from working at home, something that was flexible and fitted around my commitments to my family and my main job. It took me a few weeks to pluck up the courage to contact a distributor I had been ordering my fragrances from. After receiving and looking through the information pack I was certain this was the company for me.
I have joined a great team of people who provided me with full support and training and now here I am!
I am very enthusiastic about the FM brand I will talk to anyone who will listen about the quality and affordability of the products I sell. I use the products myself so I can honestly review and sing their praises.
